1959
GPC Founded
GPC was founded as a toll and private label manufacturing entity in Lebanon, specializing in the production of decorative paint tailored for the local market.
1978
Car Refinish
Initial entry into the automotive refinish market, achieved through a production licensee agreement with Valentine Paint, France.
1994
Introduction of Private Brand
In 1994, a significant turning point occurred for GPC, as the company shifted its emphasis from international licenses to the introduction and production of GPC’s inaugural private label in automotive refinish, also known as Genrock.
2005
Ghazir Factory
Relocated both the corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility to a more spacious site in Ghazir, Lebanon.
2006
Wood Coatings
Launch of Prizma Coating, a premium selection of wood coatings crafted to meet the highest industry standards.
2013
GPC France
Launch of our corporate offices in Paris, France, underscoring our commitment to fostering business excellence in key global locations.
2014
GPC USA
The successful acquisition of the Salt Lake City facility, comprising of a training center and factory, represents a significant milestone for distribution in the Americas.
